Corporate Social Responsibility

• Baseline study of the zones with respect to health indicators, literacy levels, sustainable livelihood, demographic data, etc. will be carried out to draw an integrated and sustainable development plan for the local communities

Agricultural improvement:

• Adoption of technological innovations & development of cattle rearing, poultry, piggery, horticulture, floriculture, etc.

Empowerment of women:

• Providing training in handlooms, handicrafts and other income generating activities

Education:

• Setting up of an Institute of Indigenous Knowledge Systems, Petroleum Institute, etc. in consultation with the Tribal Hohos and the Board

Other educational programmes

• Setting up of an Industrial Training Institute (ITI)
• Adoption of Schools and providing various facilities including furniture and teaching aids
• Providing free uniforms and books to students in consultation with schools
• Providing infrastructure to make the schools appealing to the village children
• Scholarships for meritorious students for higher studies
• Imparting of vocational training in select schools in every district
• Training of people in “Disaster Management”

Public Utilities Development:

• Setting up of an Industrial Training Institute (ITI)

Health Care Activities

• To promote ‘Primary Health Care’ facilities to the people living in the adjoining villages of the operational areas through Primary Health Care Centres, Mother & Child Health Care Projects, Immunisation Programmes, Health care for visually impaired or physically challenged and Preventive awareness programmes
